Our Mission & Founder

Our mission is to establish the world's definitive resource on thiamine and high-dose thiamine therapy. For decades, the profound therapeutic potential of thiamine (Vitamin B1) has been overlooked, leaving a vast gap between cutting-edge biochemical research and the practical tools available to both patients and clinicians. We exist to bridge that gap.

We started by building a community, which quickly grew into the thousands, confirming a desperate need for clear guidance. That community evolved into The B1 Blueprint, a structured course to meet that need. And to ensure the science would always be accessible to all, we created the Thiamine Wiki.

About the Founder:
Elliot Overton

Eliot Overton is a clinical nutritionist and researcher who has dedicated his career to unraveling the clinical applications of high-dose thiamine. Frustrated by the disconnect between complex science and real-world application, he founded Thiamine Protocols to create a hub of clarity and credibility.

Eliot is the architect behind the widely-followed Thiamine Protocols methodology and the creator of The B1 Blueprint. His work is used by thousands worldwide to navigate their therapeutic journey. Furthermore, his private community of over 18,000 members stands as one of the largest and most active online forums dedicated solely to nutritional recovery, serving as a living testament to the global need for this education.

His research, particularly in demystifying and managing the "paradoxical reaction," has positioned him as a leading voice in the field. His work is frequently cited for advancing nutrient-based approaches to chronic illness and has earned him recognition from renowned figures in functional and integrative medicine.
